咖啡对身体有益吗?

Yes, Coffee Can be Good for You

Can something that is so stimulating to our central nervous systems, like caffeine, possibly be good for us? Many of us can't even function before our first morning cup of coffee, then there's the coffee breaks during the day, are we consuming too much of a toxic substance?

The quick answer is no.

Coffee is not toxic, rather it is a natural nutrient that is loaded with disease-fighting anti-oxidants called chlorogenic acids.

In fact, for many Americans, it may be the strongest anti-oxidants they ingest during the day.

Chlorogenic acid is a naturally occurring organic compound. This compound, long known as an antioxidant, also slows the release of glucose into the bloodstream after a meal which is why it helps to reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes.
Multiple studies have shown that the caffeine in coffee may reduce cavities, boost athletic performance, improve moods, and stop headaches -- not to mention reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, colon cancer, liver cancer, gall stones, cirrhosis of the liver, Parkinson's diseases and Alzheimer's disease.

Harvard researchers found in 2011 that men who drank six cups of coffee per day had a 60% lower risk of developing the most lethal form of prostate cancer -- and a 20% lower risk of developing any form of the disease.

Are there negative effects at all?

Yes, there are some. Excessive consumption may cause nervousness, rapid heartbeat, palpitations, sleeplessness, and irritability. Some sensitive individuals may experience high blood pressure. In women, it may contribute to osteoporosis. But these are rare.

So, enjoy your cup of joe and be healthy.
